| I tried staying away from the computer today. I thought, "Well, maybe I can just check my email..." but when I tried to, the server wouldn't respond! So now here I am blogging.
There was supposed to be a small one-day anime convention on May 19, but then the date's been moved to June 30. I don't know if I should be happy about that, though. I had all my expectations up that I'd be able to cosplay Takani Megumi on May 19. It turns out that my Anthy, who's in Singapore right now, may be able to return to Manila by June 30, so I'm confused whether or not to continue having my Megumi costume made, since I already have the Utena costume. I feel so conflicted right now. ^.^~
Anyway, to move on to other matters, Kuwami-chan is in Hong Kong right now. Argh! I so envy her... I've never been so much as a toe-length out of the Philippines, and now she's in Hong Kong and will be going to Japan as well!

Tin, um, unless I'm mistaken, your mother's justified; you can claim those mangoes because the branches are over your property.
Selene, don't you know? Your layouts are great! ^-^ I mean, I can't even come up with a border that lines up correctly, not to mention those flourishes are hard to create.

First of all, I checked my referrers list (for the first time this week) and found out that Selene has linked back to me! ^.^~ Thanks for the advice about f2s.com, BTW; I'm checking it out as I blog. *sigh* Though I will be missing Pitas.com when I do move. | Hah... I tried to get Graymatter working (I even searched for a free web host that supported cgi scripts), and I tried it at my new account in digitalrice.com. x.x The big problem is that I couldn't CHMOD the files. Until I can find a better host, or perhaps get myself a domain, I'm sticking it out with Pitas.com.
Besides, last night as I was thinking about moving my blog, I got all nostalgic about the good times I've had with Pitas. ^.^~ I'm such a sentimental person. Perhaps that's why I can't throw anything away. *looks at her messy room*

| *sigh* I've not had any net access for the past few days, so it's been a while since I've looked at other people's blogs. Tin seems to have developed a tendency for really long posts, I see ^.^~ but at least they're long posts with something to say. Not to jump into the whole controversy that almost every blog I read has been talking about, but, uhm... maybe nobody should have pounced? Maybe they could have just let it fade into obscurity instead of prolonging the agony for everyone by blogging/ranting about it?
What else is going down? Well, I met with a few of my fellow cosplayers last Saturday (yes, the same day the whole of Metro Manila was in utter non-electricity) and basically discussed who was going to be who at the cosplay event this May 19. I ditched my Utena cosplay plans since my Anthy partner was shipped off to Singapore by her job and won't be back until, well, the summer's over. I was thinking of using oniisama as Dios, but the problem is that would be one heck of a big expense and I can't afford it.
Anyway my mom agreed to having another costume made (it's a miracle!); counting all my cosplayer friends, there are going to be a lot of Rurouni Kenshin characters, so I'll be Megumi. Whee! |

Lolo-sama said this page loads too slowly. ^.^~ *sigh* That's too bad! I particularly love this layout, but it's a shame that other people have to wait a long time for it to load. Okay, then, I'll only keep it until mid-April (that's a pinkie promise), then I'll replace it with something fast-loading.
Funny, though... my last Esca layout was on as grand a scale as this, but people told me it loaded just fine. Maybe it's my image host. |

I'm off to check my email now. I certainly hope I've put an end to that person harrassing me. Baka!
Oh well, I checked it. Thank God the person didn't email me back after I requested that he/she stop meddling in my affairs. I know his/her email address right now, though, and my friend and I are going to try tracking it down.
Now I have a sudden fear of facing some people whom I call "friends", because I don't know who's being a hypocrite and pretending to be a friend while in fact he/she is criticizing me using another web name. |

| Someone has been sending me scathing emails, trying to pick a fight with me. What is with this person? I don't even know him/her and he/she scolds me! Without even asking me why I did something (or failed to do something), this person places blame on me, in the process calling me a hypocrite, when in fact, I had not done anything wrong. Argh! I hate it when people who think they know me think they have a right to meddle in my life. |
